A emblem

OK I feel like an Idiot I have shaved all the emblems on my car but I want to take the A embem off the back now, How do I get it off, I know it attaches in side some how. Ive been trying to get it off for along time now (not very hard) and just to add one think I want to put it back on after I get it off

it is a sticker just like the rest... nothing attached

get some good fishing line and some goo-gone and slip it underneath the emblem and go back and forth and pull away from the paint to avoid scratching.

put goo-gone on the fishing line also to avoid scratching and it should make everything easier also

when u put is back on make sure it's centered... i'd put tape on the trunk to make the exact spot

There is this "tubular clip" according to the diagram. But... I don't know how to take that off ^^

its clipped on the inside, try taking off the black carpet liner to get to it. if you take it off, you'll be left with two holes though.

That (A) emblem is different from the rest of the emblems. Its mounted with 2 pegs and will leave behind 2 holes. Its not completely a sticker or by means a clean shave if you take it off.

I guess this is the 1% progression was wrong lol

Yes, as everyone else said, combination sticker and two prongs fitting into two holes in the trunk fitted with what Looks like 2 cups/anchors. On my old Accord I left it in the sun, used some warm water and goo gone... Worked fishing line from the top to the center until it hit the prongs, then from the bottom to the center, then from each side to the center. I couldn't Acces the back of the "plugs" on that car, you might be able to on our CLs, not sure. If I recall, I carefully slid an old credit or gift card behind the emblem when the surface was wet to help separate the adhesive that tried to reattach. If you do that, please be extremely careful, it is easy to scratch the paint with the card. Good luck.

you open the trunk up and there is an opening by where the trunk latch is. You look in that cutout and you will see the 2 prongs. Stick a screwdriver or something up in there and push them out and it should pop out. I dunno if u have to remove trunk lining since ive always had mine removed.
