EGR bypass plate
I fabricated a plate to bypass the egr valve. Hopefully this configuration will not cuase the computer to throw a cel. I have reset the codes and will test it out tommorrow.

Actually I do have a filter on my pcv line. Anyway, the codes came back. I have one more idea to try and fool the egr valve.
I'm doing this becausen it icreases my boost response Greatly, sincen I'm superchargen.

OK, I just finished fabricating a manifold plate for the egr valve. I have the pcv valve line now flowing through the egr valve to ported, not manifold vacuum. Hopefully the computer will see enough flow and won't throw a code again.

Finally success! I ended up having to make two plates, a block off plate on the mount for the egr, also a plate to direct flow from the pcv valve thru the egr, to a vacuum source directly behind the throttle plate.
This is a nice mod for the s/c'er .

The egr valve is open slightly at idle and fully open at cruise speed. What has improved with this mod is my boost response. The power delivery is more cosistant and comes on immediatly as the throttle is opened . The lull in power is gone.
A few weeks ago I fixed something that did increase my boost. I re-routed my pcv valve to mount into the fitting directly behind the throttle plate, instead of onto the Intercooler. This way I no longer lose boost thru the pcv valve. This made a big jump in power all the way to red line.
Basically, I'm trying to improve what I already have, without spending money.

After my last dyno (low #'s), I knew there was more power to be had from the engine .
I was seeing 250 whp, which the power dropped off, like falling off a cliff, at around vtec 4800 rpm.

I'm seeing 6.5 psi at around 4500 rpm when the rev limiter kicks in, since I can only check it in park (I don't have pillar gauges, just a mechanics compound gauge).

I thought the PCV valve is a one way valve? If your is flowing both way, you need a new pcv.
