Don't but that. Go for the Icebox, AEM, or Injen.

I don't understand why folks get pissed that noobs start new threads. Should we NOT post and just have a stagnant ass board with no new posts? Searching is great and all, but shit, I just got my car and sometimes would rather share my experiences and find out things directly from members instead of reading a 3 year old thread. Just my .02.

I think you should go for it dude. Try it out and tell us how it goes. Weapon R may not have the rep like Aem and Comptech but noone will ever know how their products compete against others if everyone sticks to name brands. I say check it out, give us a review, and tell us how your expereince went. The only thing I would advise is check out the filter it comes with. Its probably crappy so see if you can find a similar one from k&n.

I agree. Also, when using search, you have to read/dig through ALOT of crap to get to the info you're looking for.

But being a noob myself I have seen that there is alot of tolerance for 'noobish' posts. Its only like one person that bitches alot.

Just to be a little informative for ya......that auction is just for that aluminum box. It does not include any other part of the intake. You still have to shell out for their short-ram intake or somebody elses. On a second note, I did purchase and "ebay intake". It was $4.80 with $12.00 shipping. I have enjoyed it immensely for the cost. i figured if it did not work or I did not like it, I was out less than $20!!! So far, no complaints!!!

Good choice. You'll like it a lot.

Well said.

Although I agree with you, people need to not be offended or get all pissy. It is always going to happen that people will be bashed for not using the search function, and asking a question that has been covered a lot before. I don't think anyone is saying that "n00bs" shouldn't post new threads, but I would say that when someone bashes you for doing so, you can't dwell on it.

GOLDMAMO, I'm not referring to you. It just seem like every time a n00b posts a thread and someone gives them a hard time, someone always seem to get all pissy.

Half the fun with getting a new car (even if its used) is talking about it with other people. What kind of fun is there in talking about your new CAI with mom and dad, or your buddy who just doesn't know what the hell your talking about.

If your gonna ask a basic question like what PSI do our tires need or how to change the Johnson rod, thats best for just using the archives. It all depends on what the situation is....

Good point.

What I was trying to say in my post was not to say STFU, and don't post. Shit, I posted a thread a couple weeks ago saying how much I miss my mods when I parted out my car. I totally expected a bunch of guys to say "Who gives a flying f**k." It happens.

You got a new toy for your car, by all means, post a thread saying how much you love the Icebox, or headers or whatever. If someone says that it's been done 100 times before, don't be offended, and remember you weren't asking for advise. Chances are 90% of the replies will be "cool, good job," or something like that.

If they are asking for advise on something that has been done 100 times before and not even trying to search, then people are just asking for it and hopefully they have a thick skin.
