That was easy - 30K service...
Well, I finally got around to doing the filters on my car...
$23.09 for cabin filters on from pep boys (Purolator part number C15390)
$40.89 for a K&N drop in filter from ajusa.com (free shipping - K&N part number 33-2178)
$23.09 for a oil change down at the quicky lube around the corner (got that last week)
The air filter took about 10-15 minutes (it was easy once I found my 8mm socket).
Even tho' I've got the Helms service manual, Flounders excellent writeup with real pictures made it a breeze.

Only took about 30-45 minutes (beverage and cigarette break included). I didn't think the cabin filters looked that bad, but with the new ones there is a noticable increase in airflow
I really need to adjust the parking brake, but don't feel like doing that today
Sure beats the $500 that Inskip Acura and First Acura quoted me.
Now I won't feel to bad if I spend the savings on some of those PIAA windshield wipers

I love that diy thread. Took me about 30 mins. It helped me save over $125 (dealer charging $150, bought mine for $23.80 from pepboys). I didn't change mine until almost 75k miles and mine was not nearly as dirty as the one in the thread.
Aaaaaah, clean air finally.....

The guy that replaced his own radiator saved over $500 from the information garnered on this forum. The information here is outstanding once you get past the always present on every car forum bitching. The diy cabin filter change is an easy $75 saving.

It's the same... I used the DIY to do the cabin filters on my 03 CL...
I went through this again on the new car. 46K miles & no one changed the filters. I'm suprised the dealer didn't do it. Anyway I'm good, Since it's the 2nd time around only took me about 10 minutes.
