Early model Porsche goes DOWN!!!

OMG, I am still pumped right now! I just got in from racing with an early model Porsche Carrera (early 90s). Let me set this up for you guys. For all the people living in my area, the race was on New Road. For all the other people, it is a 4 lane road (2 going, 2 coming) and it is always deserted at night. Here it is:

I was with my wife and we were coming home from going to White Castle (wife had a craving ). I was stopped at a light. I was on the right with a car to my left and the Porsche behind the other car in the left lane. So I was just minding my business when this a$$hole in the Porsche decided to cut me off. How the fcvk did he not see me with my bright a$$ 6000K?! Anyways, I was hesitant because my wife was in the car and that dick took off. Before I can react, he already had a 1 car length head start. I didn't even get a chance to put it in SS so I just stomped on the gas. Surprisingly, I was steadily pulling him in. When I passed him by 1 car length, I was going ~ 130 mph and my wife was freaking out (in a good way :p ). As I passed him, I looked over and he had that "PRICELESS" look on his face like how the hell did a family sedan beat me in my mighty Porsche. I would've kept going but the road was merging into one lane so I slowed down.

IMO, I believed my comptech headers really helped out a lot since I was pushing triple digit speed. Oh, and the sound of my AEM CAI is music to my ears.

I was waiting for a comment like this. Let's see now. If it took me ~130 mph to have 1 car length on him then it is safe to assume he was pushing it.:o

I have to agree. Considering I almost rear ended a fully decked out CL-S and Blackshadow's car being a TL-P I don't know.

Quite honestly I think he was pacing you not racing you, but hey a win is a win.

You guys are just too quick on jumping on the bullshit ship. First of all, my TL is not stock. Second, it was an early 90s porsche and obviously it's not that fast compared to today's or even recent porsches. Third, if you don't think 130 is fast enough for a race, then what was your top speed in racing? Personally, I have gone up to 147 mph. So when did racing that does not go over 150 mph not be considered all out? Then all these street races that don't even go over 100 mph (being optimistic here) is bullshit?

C'mon fellas, I know a lot of people on here like to lie about their racing stories but I really don't see the need to. People that knows me will vouch for me.

I mean for god sake, I had a civic hatchback blew me away (engine swap) a few months ago.

I konw you're not stock, but I'm just in awe per say cuz when my TL had all the bolt ons and VAFC, a freakin stock VR6 caught me and started to pull when I shifted into 4th. I'm just kinda comparing the VR6 to the early Porsche, which I still think the Porsche weill dog a VR6. Trust me, I know you ain't about BSin...I was just surprised at first!
