E-brake light problem

Hi everyone,

This is not really a CL problem but for toyota sienna. But it has the same pedal emergency brake so i figure i can find some solution here.

I guess due to high usage of the emergency brake, the "brake" light will occasionally come on in the dash board even tho the emergency brake is off. I am guessing the wire is probably loose somewhere.

The light comes on when I did a hard brake and there is a g-force going forward or when I am making a right turn and a g-force going left. When I do the opposite aka turn left or accelerate hard, the light will go off.

Could be the same problem that the CL/TLs have. The master cylinder cap may have a faulty sensor. Just remove it and slide the float a little bit and make sure it moves freely. Another possibility is that there is a little filter at the bottom of the reservoir that might need replacing.
