Does a K&N drop in actually do anything?
Does it make the car sound like it has an intake?

 

at wot it sounds much nicer and i get about 1 mpg better gas mileage, faster or more mph, i do not know.

get the K&N and do the RAM air setup like Jrock and I did. really works and increases lowend torque .

Where the hell do you find the K&N drop in?!

I went to TWO autoparts stores today and NEITHER could even find a LISTING of the part.

I checked autocarparts.com - none listed.

I have the drop-in. The engine seems to rev. more freely and it's a little louder at WOT.
I don't really care about gas mileage but I've heard it improves also.

01 CL-S San Marino Red/Black, K&N drop in, no nav, rear wing, otherwise stock thus far, has an appetite for Bavarian cars.

 

The part number for the CL-S K&N drop in filter is 33-2178. I have one. Haven't put it in yet. Very soon though. I ordered mine from a local shop listen on K&N's site. I paid right around $45 for it.
