No problem...

Unfortunately, you have to take out the back seat. There are screws on the trunk side of that 'doorway', but you can't get to them without taking the back seat out.

Once you do, the whole passthrough will come out, then you can slide the metal pin that is part of the joint of the door out, remove the door, and then put the remaining passthough back in.

The seat bottoms in the back just pull up... with a little elbow grease. Then you will find the 4 or so bolts that hold in the back seat.

I did this so you could see the speaker in my box from inside the cabin... and it looks great now!

You're quite welcome.

I remember how happy I was to get rid of that damn thing myself. I went through the same thing for about 6 months before I just got pissed and started tearing stuff apart until I figured it out.

It's a good day!

I absolutely love it... it has a beautiful, deep, rich tone that I like even better than the JL 12w6's I had before. I would buy another one in a heartbeat. And this single speaker is loud as hell... of course it better be with as much power as I'm putting to it.

I haven't heard the audiobahn ones before, so I can't make a comparison.

I'm sure it has more a lot to do with the enclosure too... mine is a downward firing enclosure built with the golden rule to minimize distortion. And it hits the entire range really really well.

Here are the woofer specifics: specs

right on. i picked one up before. no less that 40lbs. no b/s. the magnet on it is a damn monster!!!! i recommend that for your next subs, defintintly mine!

i got 2 kicker comps right now. they hit real good, but not as hard as a polk or audiobahn fo sheezy
