No matter how I sit, adjust the steering wheel or seat, the gauges are always partially blocked from my view. Great design.....

6’-0” tall and ZERO problems.

I have read here that others have tried to mount their V1 remote display like mine and it blocked the entire digital display.
The only thing blocked by mine is the odometer and I don’t really need to see that while driving.

You Asian guys are just too short.

I am 5' 8" and the upper portion of the steering partially block the view. The only way toesolve this is to lean the back of the seat backward.

However, I prefer the upright straight back seat with a bit of an incline.

If I tried to slide the seat back it does help a bit, but I will have less reach to the steering, so for safety reasons this is not feasible.

More control please... if we could lift up the steering a bit, it would be great!

Well, I'm considered short and I have no problems. I have the V1 mounted on the wheel, against the dash and it blocks nothing. I can also see right through the wheel to my gauges. I guess it's just the way I sit and the way I like the wheel??

That's one reason I never use SS because I can't see the tach and the engine is so smooth I'd never know when I was redlining it. For a company known for their ergonomics I can't believe this passed. If you can't see the tach, might as well put a buzzer in the steering wheel so it would buzz you when you hit redline.

when turning or getting off highway ramps and using sport shift at the same time, i find it very difficult to see what gear i'm in onthat little box. seems the bars on the steering wheel always seem to block it.

hahaha i can never see the rpm tach from the way i have my on the wheel, cant see how fast im going unless i lift my arm up and peek down. Im only 5'5 so maybe thats why. I use SS 99.9999% of the time, i just listen to the engine, i never shift before red anyways so it works out fine.

You must have more TORSO then LEG.

I sit with the seat elevator all the way DOWN and the backrest slightly reclined so my hair is just missing the roof liner.

The steering wheel obscures the view a little bit. It would actually be better if the guages were a bit smaller, IMO.

Hmm, I'm 5'2" and I have no problems seeing the gauges. The steering wheel is at the lowest position, so the airbag is pointed at my chest and not my face. I think the seat elevator is about halfway up. Where I have a problem is with the side mirrors. I can't seem to find a position where they don't block a large part of the side view.

I do have a hard time getting the leg,arm ratio right without blocking the top of the tach a bit.

I really wish the steering wheel would telescope!

You do know that you CAN adjust the steering wheel up and down. You're just asking for MORE up and down adjustment, right?

Just checking.

Moo: Get over it !

Let me clear it up, I only drive with my steering wheel tilted all the way down. So If I'm sitting up straight, steering wheel in low ride mode, THEN, I don't see the Tac etc.....So I have to put my seat in "low ride" mode to see everything.....I feel sometimes like a punk.....I'm 41 not 21........

You guys really do bitch about every little thing.

I have never had a problem. I can see the guages through the steering wheel just fine.

Sometimes it is a bit difficult to see where I'm going while making a left hand turn though. The side mirrors are either in a bad spot or are too big.

At least if I hit someone while turning left I'll know how fast I was going and what my mileage is. :P
