Does this mean my tranny is about to go?
i just bought my car 2 weeks ago and i am completely in love with it. its a 2001 CL-S with 87k. ive already orederd the progressive sway bar, but i havent out it in yet. i was driving home today, just slow cruising, about 45, and the VSA and ABS lights come on but the check engine light was off. then as im pulling into my neighborhood the car completely shuts off and turns back in a total of 2 seconds. the engine died and i lost power then it started back up. it didnt buck or anything. i park and plug in my OBD reader and it read a code for transmission shift malfunction and another that was incorrect gear ratio. i unplug the reader and turn the car on and the VSA and ABS light were off but i didnt clear the codes... and the car drove fine. WHAT HAPPENED??

power loss #2
ok, took the car out later tonight and drove fine no lights or anything. i made a turn and then the radio shut off for a few seconds and turned back on. then someone cuts me off and i had to slam the brakes real hard. and it happened again. the car turned off and i lost all power (real scary i almost rear-ended the person) for 2-3 seconds and pop go the VSA and ABS lights. get to my destination turn the car off. back into the car 2 hours later and drive home fine, no cut out or idiot lights. im pretty sure i have bad sway bar end links in the back and the suspension clanks alot when i go over bumps. could that be it throwing off the braking stability? idk.. i really hope it isnt the tranny cause that will take a long time and i need my car.. any other possibilities? thanks

Transmission bro, you have an OBD reader, you already know more than we would.
Check the manufactured date of your car in the door jamb...if it's been less than (I'm 99.9% sure) 7 years and 9 months you will be covered under Acura's extended warranty because your car has less than 109k miles.
