Does everyone use thier CL as a daily driver?????

I was just wondering.........people, like SHAWN S and SCOOTER have thier car looking like it was freshly painted. Don't get me wrong, my car is just as shiney, but I was just wondering if people with the shiney cars drive them every day!!!!!!!

Nope, only when the weather is nice. Everyone makes fun of me for not driving it all of the time. I love my car.

I used it as a daily driver. From 2/01 to 1/02, I put on about 34,000 miles. I also used to wax it every other week. A real pain in the a$$ when you drive that much.

I do .. wish i didn't have to though. Really wish I didn't have to bring the CL out in bad weather....

I was seriously thinking about picking a late 90's Blazer or something to have for crappy weather and utility purposes....

Everyday...and I try to Zaino it every weekend.

Unfortunate thing is that I just drive it to school and park it in a lot for 7 hours though, as it collects a layer of dust...

Nothing my California Car Duster can't fix though!

I get picked up in my corporate limo (bus) everyday so I put absolutely no miles on the CL-S.

I've had it since November 2001...have 6500 miles on it.

- 2 trips to NYC
- 3 trips to PSU
- 1 trip to Charleston, WV

YES! I just got my baby, put it was purchased to be my daily (and only) car. Even tho I luv her and wanna take care of her, the way I see, cars are meant to be driven, and that's what I'm gonna do. If I could get a winter car, then I probably would...but I know in myh heart that it'd probably sit in my garage while I drove my CL. My dad's GS sits in the garage and is driven once a week (by me hahaha ) I just don't see the point.

Yeah, it's my daily, but we use my wifes Subaru Forester for grocery runs and most errands. Keeps the miles down on the Red Rider.

I do about 20k/year. If I had a Porche I'd split the driving but oh well. I need to eat and pay the rent too so I'll stick with one car for now.

Once I finally get done with the MR2 suspension/brake work, I'm going to use it to drive in the bad weather. Nice sunny days will be for the CLS.

Well, kinda sorta.

I drive the CL ( Babydoll ) when I feel Pimp in the morning, when I feel like a Ricer, I drive the Probe ( Pornstar to you folks! ) only because it's a stick.

Doesn't matter, I stil rack up about 20K miles on both per year. I hit the road to ATL and all other places so both cars get driven about equally on a daily basis.

Road trip for Saturday, maybe the beach, maybe Busch Gardens, but I will be on the road in the AM!!

YEP, my daily commuter! Bullet (my car) takes a beating everyday coming into work from MD to downtown DC. Potholes, uneven pavement, tar, construction, parking lot dirt, door dings, bird shit and everything else mother nature has thrown at it. My shine is unbelievable, and i actually clean it and dust it practically everyother day . My neighbors think I am obsessed with my baby! I wish i had another car to take abuse, but i seem to buy a new car every two years anyway. (4 cars since 95)

driven to work most days, about 14k per year; on my previous Maxima, I put on about 19k per year. With the CL, I try to use my wife's 93 Accord for a week a month to help keep the miles down on the Cl. But this weekend, will take a nice cruise in it from Philly to Richmond.....

It was my only car and a daily commuter......51K from 11/00~3/02
Not to mention a month I didn't drive it while it was waiting for a new tranny. I picked up a turbo miata....same mileage...actually, a little worse...cuz of the gearing...but it saves some wear and tear on my CL....my paint is torn up on the hood....but when i wash it...it looks okay....

My CL-S is a daily driver - I have a 70 mile roundtrip commute and it's a great car to have with that long commute. I try to keep it clean and wash once a week but it's hard since the city needs to water the roads twice a week with many gallons of water...

The Corvette is my husband's...he has a 16 mile round trip and puts about 5,000 miles a year on his car. I love his car but would not want to do my commute in a Vette every day.

Someone had to have the "practical" car and I guess it's me!
