Yeh. I think it is in the rear right quarter panel.

 

check out the a/v forum. there's a pretty good DIY walkthrough of an amp installation and it shows where the bose amp can be found. good luck.

 

I looked this up a long time ago in my electronic Helm's Manual. And it is located in the trunk on the right side behind the carpeted molded pieces.

Perhaps the "Body Electrical" section of the Helm's manual. That's where the diagrams and info for the Bose exists in my 2001 CLS Service Manual (AKA Helms).

When I purchased my manuals I purchased two separate manuals.

One contains nothing but Electronic diagrams, parts, schematics, harness info, wiring layouts, the works.

The general service manual is for all around automotive information on the CL

I think the elec. guide I purchased may have been the "Electronic Troubleshooting guide" but I'll have to double check. But I can assure you there are two.
