Just a note to everyone doing the shock sensor do NOT use teh DEI dual stage shock sensor. I just completed it on SpeedRacers ride the process takes less than 15min now. Hard part is just splicing the yellow wire from under the dash. One thing we did notice was that it just wasn't senstive enough and since it has some special feature which ignores thunder storm and other constant vibrabtions it just wasn't setting it off. I happend ot have another sensor just like the one I used and hooked it up to the same wiring and it worked fine. Also the dei only has 1 led so i wouldn't use it.

 

Can a mod move this to FAQ. This is good to know, because I am planning to install a shock sensor. Hey Nova, can you post instructions? Or atleast tell us what wire we can use for the "pulse" or "trigger" wire

also this time I just tapped it from under the dash instead of taking all the fuse and prongs out. saved me about 30 min.
