Do Comptech Headers Come with their own Gaskets?

As topic, do they come with their own gaskets or do they just suggest you use Honda gaskets?

They do NOT.

You use the existing gaskets on your car -- they should be fine. Mine were -- or you can pay $25.00 x 2 for two new ones from Honda/Acura like I did and waste $50.00.

I just installed CT headers, this is how I know this.

Really? The OBX headers came with gaskets. I always thought that the Comptech ones would too.

I went with new exhaust manifold gaskets at $36. I figured, better safe than sorry. I used the stock lower donuts with no problems. Don't forget the anti-sieze.

I would get new gaskets from the dealer...they are designed to crush and seal, they aren't meant to be reused. The ones that come with the OBS don't look so hot, so we got new OEM ones for Ferizzo's header install.

You do have to get new ones but they aren't $50! Do a search for posts by ShawnS. He recommended an excellent web site for ordering parts for our cars. This website will tell you what the dealer actually pays for the part and then you can negotiate with them to bring the price down or just order from the website. The gaskets for the Honda Accord V6 are the EXACT same so Honda dealerships may be cheaper than Acura dealerships. Everyone usually recommends replacing the gaskets instead of reusing. It's just peace of mind. You will be greatly dissapointed if you have an annoying exhaust leak because of the gaskets. You will then have to start all over from scratch. Don't be cheap by the gaskets now!

Wait yes they do. 3 compression gaskets included. Or are you talking about the gaskets for the header to the engine? Those 2 are not included, & you can use the stock ones.
