What should i do?

Well when i picked up my car the day of delivery they forgot to install my spoiler, so i went back a few days later and they installed it for me. The next day after work ( i park beside a wall) i noticed a small dent the size of a quarter on my rear left quarter panel above the wheel fender. They said they'd call dent busters to fix it but they said because that panel is two peices of metal welded together they can't push the dent out from underneath and the dealer won't pay for it if it has to go thru a body shop... so now what do i do????

so was it there before? The car is brand new right? The dealer better pay for it! I'd walk in there and wreck shop!

If the dealership did it, then they should fix it. Just make sure that it wasn't something that could have happened when you had the car (someone opened their door into you or something). Acura dealerships shouldn't even think about this if it was their fault. I hope that it works out for you.

There is nothing wrong with paintless dent removal. I have my car fixed atleast once a year!

If its the dealer's fault, they have to pay for the fixing.

If you're going to have to pay for the repair - call Dent King - they are bar-none the best outfit in the Lower mainland to remove any dings.

I would write a letter to Acura Canada and advise them what one of their dealers did (if you can prove it). You'd be surprised what a bitch letter can do.

Do you have proof? Might have been there & you just noticed it. Without proof your word against theirs. Not a good thing.

...that's the thing, how do i prove it? After they put the spoiler on i had the car for at least a day before i noticed it. I but during that day, i parked it at home (which is beside a concrete pillar so noone could have opened the door into my car on that side) and at work (which again i park beside a wall which makes it impossible for another car to ding mine).

I was already quoted $85 from dent-king, but they haven't actually come down to look at it. Acura said "dent remover" similar to dent king couldn't remove it since it's just above the rear left quarter panel above the wheel fender (there's two sheet metal welded together so they can't push the dent out from behind unless they drill some sort of hole, and then again they can't garantee that they can push it out...

I'll write a letter to Acura Canada and let them know - does anyone have an email address i should send it to and to whom do i attention it to? I've never done anything like this.

Thanks,
Paul
