Ditch stock alarm?
Ditch stock alarm?
I've noticed a lot of people getting aftermarket alarms for their cars.
Isn't the alarm that comes with the CL-S sufficient? What does the aftermarket alarm have the stock one doesn't?

Why buy a special edition car and not drive it like it was meant to be driven
Convenience features are fine and dandy, but I'd like to know what protective measures aftermarket alarms have over the stock CL-S.
My experience is once you start pulling parts off (like to install the alarm), the car has a tendency to rattle more. This is why I'm planning to leave my car completely stock.
At least this is my experience with modifying my last (well current, soon to be last) car- an Accord.

My alarm works along side with the factory alarm. They are both activated when I use my clifford key fob. A good installer should install it that way.

I wouldn't want a shock sensor.
I've seen a lot of times a problem with it: A rice car drives by with a huge ass exhaust pipe and it sound like a plane going for a take off. Because of the vibrations that exhaust system cause shock sensor goes off like a crazy m.otherf.cker !

Stats on all-stock with 1/2 tank:

Why drink and drive, when you can smoke and fly?
