Dimmer switch pinout, ne1?

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone had the pinout for the dimmer switch on for an '03 CLS. I'm trying to hookup the interior light in a TL fog light switch to the dimmer switch so that when I turn my interior lights on the switch light comes on also. Thanks.

also if i am correct the red is positive and red/black is negative

if u hook it up backwards the switch will be dim and will brighten when the rest of the light dim, so all u would need to do is switch the wires around

I didn't wire into the dimmer switch at all. My switch does not dim. But it lights up. 5 pins on the switch, 3 wires from the PIAA switch wire.(black, red, white) I spliced 2 of the wires onto different pins. Spliced ground onto 2 pins, white was 1 pin, spliced red onto the other 2 pins. That makes 5. I wish I could find the pin out diagram I had. That would explain it better.
