Detecting if the mileage been rolled back

Any sure fire way to tell if a used CL has had the mileage rolled back?

Here in San Diego about 10 years ago a big scam had rollbacks for $75-150.
Somehow one of the rings got busted.

2007 technology, is it possible to detect if a CL has been rolled back?

Noob question here, but is it possible to roll back a digital odometer? My guess would be that the only odometer tampering issue to look for would be that someone unpluged the odometer so that it wouldn't record mileage driven?

A Toyota tech said all they have to do for the digital ones is plug in their diagnostics machine and type in whatever they want.

I remember getting flamed and thinking....What the "F" is wrong with these prics?......I just want to know if anyone make headers or an intake for the CL and will it give me 5.984hp or 6.748hp. does the Turbonator realy work and where exactly is the flux capacitor? Oh how it is all so clear now.
