I had a '85 300zx that had me by the balls like this guy... bold moves on the work on his own... mine ended badly too...broke the timing belt and then it was time for a new car...hope his next project turns out better!!!!

New motor is in and fired up. I have a p1259 code. will replace the vtec solenoid today. the motor purrsssss

out of curiousty, are the regular boost pulley and hbp different colors, lets say black vs polished?

Depends on when they were produced. I've seen both pullies in both colors.

Yeah the pulleys can go either way.

Just measure them its either 3.0" or 3.28"

I have a brass color stock pulley and I polsihed another one, but usually the newwer HBP's are black anodized aluminum.
