If you want to find out if any of the coils are bad disconnect one coil at a time and see if the engine runs properly. If nothing changes the coil is bad. If it starts running oddly like it's running on one less cylinder then that coil is fine.

Haha, I didn't realize you had the same exact name as me, Samir. The ironic thing is I am about to put in my blower, hope I don't run in to the same problems.

if you feel the engine surge as if it's gonna die that means the one you undo is OK, now, when you unplug the bad one the idle will stay the same, take that coil out and change it...

I think what he means is that, yes of course everyone wants to learn more about their car, but it is hard to learn about it WHILE fixing it. If you don't know how to fix it, it can be easy to fuck things up more than fix them. That, or at the very least waste a lot of time trying to fix things. For example, if you don't understand what static pressure is, it is best to find out BEFORE trying to fix it. Like others said, if you can't pinpoint the problem take it to a shop and learn for the future. I don't think anyone can be faulted for not knowing something, but they can be if they pretend to know something and get proved wrong.

Or take some good advise & take all your mods off & start it over. Get it running right with out the mods 1st.
Dude this is the ONLY way your going to solve this. Add 1 thing back at a time & then run the car & make sure it's still running right.
It's a PITA & it's labor intensive & if your paying $ for it it's going to hurt your wallet.

At this point your only guessing here. Throwing $ at fixes that may or may not work. Wasting your time, & getting bummed you have a car that doesn't run right.
Everyone here has tried to help you.

If the base car isn't running right then moding it is a waste & your just going to kill the car & then be SOl.

If you haven't already... Spend the $100.00 go to your Acura/Honda dealer and let them run a diagnostic on the car. I have been in a similar less painful situation as you, and it was well worth the expense.

Swap that mug in than and handle business, why are you messing around with some motor that obviouslly has problems. Oh and when you go to do swap, just leave it at the shop and tell them to call you when they are making 330whp, to save you the headache.

he will probably try to drop the motor in himself and post up asking for a wiring diagram because he forgot where the main harness plugs go.

So I finally get the time to run the car by my friend at the dealer, and they check it out. My injectors are staying open for twice as long as they should. Guess its time to replace the injectors and get over with this nonsense.

In was just thinking about that too! I was looking over RC engineerings site and thought why not clean them for $24 each just for preventive maintanence.

true, but they even recommend checking the variance between all the injectors used or new. Just check them out. I was personally more interested in the idea since I can drop by in person.

New problems. Injectors were replaced. The car ran good. Then a few days later the car would not idle and would stall. Pulled the plugs and found some completely fouled out some of tips were broken. Replaced the plugs agin with new plugs. ALso replacewd the IACV and still would not idle and would stall. The only way to get the car to run was to hold the gas pedal. But as of this morning, even that will not work.

I am stumped. I did have th car at the dealer yesterday and said everything as far as ECU is concerned seems fine. The injector issue I had prior was no longer there after replacing the injectors.

A clue I saw last nite was there was motor oil in the intake manifold and in the air intake plumbing> I have no clue ohw oil is getting into there. I checked the PCV valve it is not clogged but cleaned everything up anyways.

SO now car wont start, and if I try long enough, I might be able to get it to start, but wont idle. But if I can get it to start and I hold the throttle, driveability seems the same. It will pull and drive.

Any ideas?

Some oil in the intake runners is completely normal. Anyone who has installed spacers has seen it.
