alright, after a week of thinking, i'm going with either the carbon black or pewter gray. the pewter gray came in early honda cars like the 90-91 crx, and the na1 NSX in the uk (only 2, thanks eric)

not feeling black so much because maintenance is a b1tch. here's the pewter gray:

and the bmw carbon black:

i might later on, im still in high school and im not making that much money YET. ill be graduating in July, thats when ill be doing full time, making more money on that commission. at that time ill be transferring to the plano body shop which is run by my uncles. another reason its so cheap is because its getting painted by them, i did all the prep work so they just have to spray. i spent all day last saturday working on the car. right now im just repainting the car cuz previously it had front end damage and they just single staged it when it was painted and it looked shitty so i said fuck it and decided to do the whole car. im thinking of adding some king of blue to the clear on top of SSM. any one in the dallas area needing a paint job PM me, i can hook you up.

the scion guy was just extremely jealous of your car. and yours personally is one of the best looking ones i've seen on this site...get the right color, and it'll be flawless...i say that grey on the crx...

i saw something earlier today and it made me think of this thread: the tc guys had to be jealous: that car sucks! i saw a S/C kit that "promises" 200HP at 7psi!! thats big psi to still be slow as hell...probably felt faster gliding through your paint...

MCB would be cool, so would the carbon black or the "java black" but you would still be looking at the "black blob" with those two...LOL

I'm loving that carbon black. though the orange flake in the STI looks great.

If i were going to choose right now, I'd go w/ carbon black.

I always love my CL black, especially that java black on sti, very sexy.
But if i am u, i will go with the blue because you have black to start with, why not go with something different. Its just that we don't know how good your CL will look with blue, and black is the safe choice because you know it will look good for sure.
To me the blue gives it a sportier feel while black gives it a luxury feel.

going to head to backyard creations this saturday to talk to joe, dropping it off the 22nd woot woot.

i'm leaning towards the java black, hopefully i can check it out in person before i make my decision. i love mcb, but its somewhat close to abp... i think my decision's still between these 4 colors: java black, mcb, carbon black, and pewter gray

First off my vote is for nbp, cause thats what I got, and I love it... when its clean. Although that grey you mentioned above gets my second vote. Remember blue is just like black its a bitch to keep up with. I've owned both. Ohh and the hater that keyed your car was just probably mad that youre car looks tough, nice work.

I like that pewter a lot, and the blue. I can't decide on the Java, it seems like one of those colors you need to see in person under the sun but i be t it looks hot.

make sure backyard doesn't have the same guy scheduling that innovative mounts has.

i really like java black, too bad the 1st cl guy h2o or w/e didn't reply to my pm. =\ i guess he doesn't like me copying his color =P

but yeah 1 month isn't bad considering they have a lot of cars coming b/c of the season. i'm planning to keep the car in the garage at home for about a month before i even bring it back to school. i might not even do so since its such a short time.

brian too bad u didn't get those vs-xx for $800 from C-L =\

i was a bit upset at first, but then i was ok with it, cuz i realized his front wheels didn't clear BBK anyway. so i would've had no use for them.
