I was just sayin man whoever did that has no respect for a mans ride. I ran into a case of someone slashing all 4 of my tires in high school, and one night so happens I saw the kid at a party and he admitted to it!! Well all I can say is he most likely regrets he ever admitted to it because he got the worst ass beating I had ever seen in my life. There's one thing you dont fuck with a mans whip, or you will learn the hard way

Acura TL

Anyone see the new Acura TL color? It's like that carbon black...it's so dark unless you look real close at it, then you see the midnight blue in it.
Also, I saw a new H2 at the auto show yesterday, it's a mega sweet green/blue color...it's called "Ultra Marine" wish I took a picture of it, cause the website doesn't do it justice.

Dont repaint the whole car, just get your guy to paint some flames or lightning bolts down the side and over the scratches. Not only will it cover the scratch, flames and lightning bolts both add at minimum 20 whp. FTMFW!

Sorry to hear that Phillip, your car just turned out so nice too. I hate fuckers like that, especially at UCI and UCR (Past experiences/stories). But id keep it close to black as well, NBP looks perfect to me.......

Some advice to you, just ignore those fools next time. Stupid ppl will exist everyday, no point in wasting your energy to confront them, itll just lead to something worse. Just laugh it off and move along with your day

thanks anthony, i'll go nbp just because i don't have to deal with finding parts and parting out won't be a bitch. i'm looking to keep this far for a long while, but since the e46 carbon black and nbp is that close, it won't make a huge differance. ionno, maybe i'll change my mind =P i have a month to decide.

i'm calling the insurance tomorrow, probably have to go get an estimate as well.

if anyone has a car cover, PM me... i'm in a search for one, maybe i'll just pay that 200-300 for the noah car cover =\

no seriously i like dark gray, but meh i like nbp as well...

the design of the cl has a lot of angles, the hood, the way the front comes to an angle... black/dark colors will show theses angles better than lighter colors. thus a light of shine comes from it

Wow, nice setup. Where were you when I was asking if anyone has ce28ns on their car? What's the specs on your rims and tires, how much and where? Do you also have any pics directly from the side and not at an angle?

Thanks

How much does a quality paint job normally run for an entire car? I've been considering getting my entire car repainted but haven't really looked much into it. I do know to stay away from MAACO and Earl Scheib or whatever their name is.

with the dings get a can of compressed air like the ones to clean your keyboard, turn it upside down, be careful that u dont touch the air (super cold, cold enough to get frostbite at room temperature), and spray it all over the dings they'll pop bak like it never happend. saves u money from the body shop

I believe the same theory is true for putting dry ice on the metal work, it should pop right out.

yea thats correct i saw this in a video i forgot the name of the website but they got millions of how to vids for alot of things and it works for small and moderate size dings as far as i no there was also one vid that explained by putting acutane i think it is (something for nailpolish) in your fuel tank in a ratio of that and gas, you could get a HELL of alot better MPG i havnt tried it tho and the guy said so u gotta experiment on how much of it to put in your engine to get the best results

i was thinking flat black, but resale... i'd like to resell it stock. i'm not going to sell this car for another 8 years probably after i buy a house.... don't see the point. its a great car, it should last long...

murdered out is not my style, never seen a murdered out car that i liked. plus irvine cops here are ridiculous. they pull you over for nothing, search your car for nothing. here's an example. my cousing got pulled over, car searched. cop's reason: had a permit (obstructing view) which was about 2x4 inches hanging on the rear-view mirror. i got pulled over 4 times and 1 cop encounter for "excessive noise" in a 3 month period.
