dealer fixes?

i have a 2003 tls and i need to get the following fixed. are these problems something the dealer will try to avoid fixing? like saying iohhh thats normal since to them its a very petty problem.

1.passenger side seat is loose. everytime i nudge it with my hands it makes a clunk sound but no noise when someone is in it.

2.driver side door handle when hot makes a crunkching noise like it has artheritis. (when opening the door.)

3.steering wheel when turned is hitting something behind it where the serial number is or whatever you call that number. that plastic tab behind the wheel with the number attched to it.

4.brake pedal makes a humm noise when depresed at certian times.

all these god damn problems seem like they will laugh at my ass if i bring it in for fixes. Or am i not the only ones with these problems?

If they laugh ask them if they will still be laughing when you get a survey from them .

My 03 CLS does this. My 02 CLS did it too. No difference on mine though weather hot or cold.

I paid alot for my CLS, and I expect stuff to be taken care off without any laughing

I took my CLS in for the 15K service (oil, rotate tires, adj. parking brake, etc), and had a list of items that I wanted them to look into.

Sunroof rattle - fixed

Creaking from dash - fixed (actually they said it was a problem with the door seals).

Clunk in front suspension - part on order (they are overnighting a radius rod).

Adjust parking brake - fixed - said it was part of the 15K to inspect and adjust anyways.

I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to have my dealership look into anything that I think needed addressing. I paid good money for my car, and expect the dealership to resolve any problems with it as long as it's under warrenty. After the warrenty is up, then they are off the hook (and I'll have to buy a helms manual).

edit: Oh yeah, they replaced the tensioner per the recall too.

The dealer should at least look at those .. but be prepared for the standard Acura scripted response "Can't reproduce it therefore you have no problem"

I too had the damn sunroof rattle and I watched in amazement the crappy 'fix' suggested by Acura .. applying tape around the opening. Well guess what, the tape didn't hold and they get to do it again .. and I don't care if Acura pays a ton of money to keep doing this ..

This is my 3rd AND LAST Acura product .. their service is sliding down hill as fast as their build quality.

This is slightly off whether they will laugh at yours but i had my car in the dealership that i use (Baierl Acura) for the tensioner recall and i also had them fix my parking brake (i dont want to go into how it got messed up) but they fixed the ebrake no questions asked under warranty and it was not normal wear and tear. My mom also has an acura (99 TL) and they re-upholstered the driver's seat for her after a cut developed in it that was not normal wear and tear, again under warranty. It's been my experience (at least with this acura dealership) that they do not attempt to avoid fixing anything...and yes i realize this isnt true of all dealerships but my experience with acura thus far is far better than any of the other dealerships ive dealt with in the past.
