cruisin home the other night on the 405 N.... a new vette is weaving up behind me.. i let him pass and decide to start playing w/ him cuz he was driving spiritidly thru traffic..... so i make my move start catchin up to him when i see some more lights weaving up from behind, then i hear a LOUD rumble as a gorgeous DB8 vantage drives by moving to kill the new vette... i backed down with my jaw dropped

that car is sick!!!

 

how about some details of the race between the vette and the db8?

 

He probably got left so far behind he couldn't see anything

FWIW, here's one report from C/D on the 06 Vette. I recall others with some slightly better numbers, but these are still representative.

Looks like they're close enough for it to be a drivers race.

I don't actually think it would be very close at all. The Vette should beat the DB8 9/10 times when driven properly. It has a better power:weight advantage.

 

maybe the guy in the vette was too busy drooling over the aston.

performance aside, the db8 is a very exotic car and deserves the attention

 

i gave up when i heard the db8 comin up... i knew what the outcome woulda been

 

that db8 just made me moist. I would say that is the best lookin coupe I've ever seen.

that picture is the vantage V8, it even said it on the plate. DB9 looks alittle different.
