Date Of 6 Speed Manual

I got my 2002 CL book a few weeks ago.

And looked at the back of it....

And saw these numbers......

I thought about what they could be. Then it hit me that the last part was a date of some kind. If you translate it, it would say "Printed 7/01 Print Ends 4/2002". This means that the books information is only valid till 4/2002. Which could mean that the 6 speed book and the Car with it will be out somewhere near that date. Someone like Soopa could help me find out if this could be true.

Um, I doubt the people who design, create, and/or print those books have even a clue about the car itself. I know from my industry, the marketing/marketing communication dept have zero to do with the introduction or delivery of products and/or service.

More likely it is a date related to their inventory or ordering process or press dates or something, but not to the intro of a car. It even could be the standard life of the material (i.e. current car).

My Acura dealership said they expected late Feb or early March ... we'll see how quick they can crank them out. I just want quality ... I can wait.

Thats what i mean. The material is only good till then. Acura tells them to print the books till a certain date so they could start making and distributing the new books with revised materials. The Company must put the date on the back for many reasons but it alse shows when a redo or new book could come out for the new car model year. And come on at least i have found something to narrow down a date of the 6 speed and who else even noticed this on the books.
