Custom sub intall and amp install
Hey guys....Since no one posts a lot in the CL section anymore. I figured I'd post my fiberglass sub inclosure and how I mounted my amp. Also installed the head unit at the same time and everything sounds great. On to the pics. Let me know what you think.
What I started with.
Test fit
Sub in and running the wires
I took the amp apart and drilled 4 holes in the roof of it to attach it to the bottom of the navi rack. The amp has a fan on the bottom so that heat won't be an issue.....at least I hope.
The fan

The RE sounds nice. It's clean and tight. I've had it for a few years and just keep moving it from car to car. I didn't want anything flashy and simple was what I was going for. Thanks

Nice and clean. That said if you arent using the navi anymore why not remove the rack for it and mount it where it was, that way its higher up and out of the way?

This is the head unit that I installed as well. It is the JVC KW-R900BT. Awesome head unit and I decided on it because it's simplistic style but it provides all the track information I need and the specs are incredible.
