curry acura the best price for warranty?
Ive been shopping around for warrantys as of late - also read about internet sales ceasing april 1st
got a couple qoutes from delaers, but many seemed to offer too little for too much in comparison
Basically about 1650$ for a 3yr/50k miles with 50$ decuctible/visit through the dealer
or
4yr/48k through curry with 100$ deductible/visit for 1360$
i dont see any options for curry offering a 50$ deduct (in all actuality ive come to appreciate the term ZERO deductible and would pay more for it any day of the week)
is curry acuracare the best game in town as far as price?

My guess from where this thread is located is that you drive a 2nd gen CL. If you bought the car certified, you could have bought the wrap warranty (Acura Care 7/100 bumper to bumper zero deductible) from the dealer at the time of purchase only. There are a million "after market" warranty companies out there most of them suck. CNA is one of the good ones, my company has a BMW, Porsche, Audi, Mini, Land Rover (why?), Acura, and Lamborghini dealership, CNA is the only aftermarket warranty we would use (we prefer to stay with Acura Care at the Acura dealer, it covers more stuff than any one else).
Ask a lot of questions.... Who will do the repairs? What is covered? Do I pay for repairs and file a claim for reimbursement? The beauty of the Acura Care is that it's good at any Acura dealer in the US, just like you bought it new.

Get it from Bernardi. They will beat any lower price if you can find it.

There isnt any way i will go with XXXXXX warranty company - It must be through acura, ive done that in the past and there are too many hoops to jump through... On the other hand whenever ive purchased through a warranty backed by the manufacturer, little to no trouble getting things covered.
That said, i beleive acuracare is in itself a warranty from Acura (unless i am mistaken) and that is the only warranty i will buy...
I tried the bernardi link but it didnt give me any warranty options... I will probably try to call someone over there in the morning.
My car was originally a late purchase in 2004. Although i bought the car pre-owned through the original acura dealership who first sold it, they never went through the process to certify it...
At the time of purchase i asked them how much it would be to have them go through the process and purchase it as a certified vehicle and if i remember correctly they wanted $2100, on top of the price we negotiated for the vehicle... I didnt take it and i dont regret it, My time will run out well before my mileage is up and 3 years/60k miles wasnt good enough for the price they were offering.
Only come to find out i have relatively no option for a zero deductible policy now through acura, which sucks but hey i dont plan on (knock on wood) bringing in the car all too often anyways. Warranty mainly for insurance on big ticket items and as i said an incentive for the buyer when i decide to sell, IMO it would put a buyer at ease to know that the car is still backed by an acura warranty good for the remainder (1yr, 6 months, 3 months whatevr it may be).

Your Acura vehicle must be less than 48 months old and have fewer than 50,000 miles to be eligible for Acura Care protection.

Call Curry, but I think you missed the deadline for an extended warranty...
