Man, looking at those pictures still gave me a headache. shouldn't we post it after we are sure that it will work? That way if it doesn't work, we will be able to keep it as a secret between us. Nobody will know our F.K. up.

Looks like a long way to go to get a Navi done, if that is what it is.

Maybe they should dynamat the whole car while they have it apart.

If you're upgrading to Navi, I did it an easier way. Just sold my 6 speed and bought one with Navi. The new one has half the miles too, (7500). Cost me $750 over the sale of the non-Navi 6 speed.
I hope you are just upgrading to stock Navi. Dealer told me that they would not even do this job cause it involves all the cars electrical and wiring. looks like that is what you've got pulled out of the dash.
If you enjoy doing this that's fine, but it's easier just to buy a car with it. For all the work you're doing I hope I'm wrong, and you're doing a more substantial upgrade to your car. At least add the newer Navi systems with bigger screens, now that might be worth it.
I know, you're tired of shifting and putting in a rebuilt slushbox from an 01 you got real cheap!
You say most already have this, that would rule out navi. There were only like 700? CL 6 speeds with Navi.

My guess is, you didn't like the way your custom shift boot turned out and you're trying to get it back to stock ... the hard way. Or, you were drinking and wanted to know what was under your carpet.

My guess is you're gutting the interior to make it a race car and shave .3/10 of a second off your 1/4 time.
