That's Krazy. You could have bought an 03 6 speed with Navi for less hassle, got a newer, better, car, and no electrical problems down the road.
Plus if you didn't install the newest 8" Navi systems then you just installed an out of date 4 year old technology.
Sorry, I applaud your enthusiasm, and the ability to do this but if it's the old system and 5" screen I'd regret what it could have been for all the effort.
All I had to do to get Navi was sell my 6 speed Non-Navi, go 450 miles, and pay $750 for my new 6 speed with Navi. I also got low miles, a better color inside and out.
Navis' cool but the 5" screen is not all that IMO.

Not quite. He has one of the very few turbocharged CLs.

Nice job. I just hope you don't have a left over bolt after everything is back together.

We were worried about the On Star system, because there are 3 plugs we didn't plug in. Luckily, the On Star system and Navi are 2 individuals system, they do not interfere each other. See pics:

Talk about wires??

Looks clean and original

Found something different??

No check engine lights or SRS lights! Thank god!

That's why I invested so much (may be more than aftermarket navi).

Why Honda Navi? Is it better than the Acura version? I never had nav in my CLS, so I'm ignorant about it.

I could agree. The boot is a little bit too flashy.

With that large a screen and the new climate controls it may have looked out of place.
