...on my way to the meet this afternoon. I was in crappy traffic getting off on an exit (on the 8W) when my friend told me there were 2 exit lanes... so I tried to get over meanwhile the guy in front of me came to a dead stop while I was looking back at the next lane, and when I looked in front of me it was too late, I rear ended some minivan around 5mph, but I went under his bumper so he got a little scrape, I got a lovely new makeover. This blows... I missed the meet, and now got several thousand in damage to worry about

Damn Dave, sorry to hear what happened..... That sux big time, yea I almost had a wreck on the way home, some biatch cut over into my lane (no signal) and ran me off into the next lane, luckily noone was on my right side otherwise it wouldve been ugly.

thanks for the kind words everyone, sad thing was I think I was only 5 mins away, accident happened in the exit to Sports Arena off the 8W. Another accident happened about 5 minutes later, same deal, traffic to close and someone got unlucky.

my friends felt bad about my car getting smashed, and were planning on taking me out to dinner anyhow since it was my bday yesterday. so i went out, had fun, then on the way home (my friend was driving in his RSX), got into the 2nd accident of the day. some fucker cut us off and slammed on his brakes, my friend had been trying to change lanes and by the time he saw the car it was too late to slow down. he panicked and swerved to the left (we were in the rightmost lane) and the car lost traction completely and did a 360 across teh entire freeway, bouncing off the center divider until we came to a rest in the 2nd lane from the left, somehow facing the right direction, and somehow without any cars hitting us. thankfully no one got seriously hurt, all of us bounced around quite a bit, and the RSX shouldnt be totalled or anything. im just thankful that everyones still alive right now. im gonna get to bed before something else goes wrong.
