The shittiest thing about the CL is that I can't find the keys to mine...

If you keep the key fob with your keys, you shouldn't be able to. Unless you lock the door by hand.

Not that I've done it, but have heard members lock their keys in the trunk.

Yeah because everyone's tranny is going to fail. ...

I have 30K on my car and the tranny is still running fine. Not everyone's tranny fails ... There are some who have over 100k on their original tranny. The failure rate is higher than normal for the car, but it isn't like every single one out there is dying.

My tranny never actually went, but as soon as the free revving started, I was at the dealership everytime it happened until they could "duplicate the problem." Took three trys. That was at 57K.

I wish they would've put in the 6-speed, hell, I'd take a 5-speed from an Accord or something if it would make it reliable. Oh well, at least I borrowed a Mustang Convertible while they were doing the work. Of course, now I want a new suspension because driving a stang for a week made mine seem all the more mushy.

I locked myself out of the car at a car wash in a downpour. Guess when I was wiping the puke off the door I hit the lock button and I closed the door. I had my drunk open and pass through unlocked, so I was able to use a golf club and a long arm to get the door unlocked.

On a similiar note, I saw a 85+ year old woman "driving" a W8 Passat this morning ... I used to sell VWs ... I was rather disappointed .. seems a waste of 275(ish) lb-ft torque ...

You guys jinxed me!!! I was on my way out to work this morning and had a bunch of crap in my hands that I needed to put in the trunk. Well, I also put my keys down in the trunk and closed it! F%*@#!!!

The shitty part is that I only have one set of keys and a few weeks ago I went to Acura to get a new set of keys made and their fancy little key programmer was broken! Ohhh well, at least Acuralink covers the cost.

I have never locked myself out of any car in 9+ years of driving....then I read this stupid thread and the next day I manage to do it.
