Hey all, I tried searching around the forums for info on doing a complete LED swap and I found just about everything I need except for a couple things.
1. Is there some sort of DIY on how to take the door apart so I can change the lights on the driver and passenger side door controls? (Would these LEDS need to be soldered?)
2. Is there an DIY on taking out the stock CD player? (Can I buy LEDs with resistors already soldered or do I need to solder for the CD player?)

 

1. Haven't seen it done yet, but you'll probably have to solder in those bad boys.
2. There are some DIY for converting the CD Player lights to all LED's. But taking out the Radio is pretty strait forward.

Just out of curiosity where are you getting the LED's from?

 

yes both the radio's and the door switches have to be soldered in, no way around it, they are all mounted on circuit boards

as for those door switche's LEDs, try searching, and looking in the DIY section, i remember seeing something like that before (it might also be under the 2g TL side, same car afterall)

I think I'm going to start this project, but probably do the cd player and doors controls last. I'll keep you guys posted about it.
