Copart Manual Cl...... Couple Qs
Well browsing on copart, I saw this nice 2003 Acura Cl type-s Manual .. Doesn't look like a lot of damage, but there are some things that are leaving me curious.. Firs of all it says "Engine Start Program" I think the engine maybe starts but does not drive? Idk you tell me.. Also after researching, I have found out that they are interference engines
.. IDk could this impact really cause some bent valves?? I don't want to deal with engines, due to I just want to buy and sell cars for profit.. PLz answer my question.. Thank you.

That might not bother anyone here looking for a 6 speed swap.
But to tell you the truth.
If this is something that you really want and there a chance not too many people would've see the auction.

and since u say ur gonna pay 6gs for it. i might even put in a bid for 5.5 just to make sure u pay that much.

All Honda motors are interference motors. You should do some research if you want to flip cars for a living. Otherwise youre going to get in over your head very quickly.
Another tip for flipping cars - choose cars that have decent resale value. This particular CL appears to need about $4k in repairs (I could be very wrong on that though). Even if you buy it for $3k, thats $7k into a car worth $9k with a clean title. Since it has a salvage title, the value drops. I wouldnt spend a nickle over $5k for a salvaged 6MT, no matter how well it was put back together. And there isn't much of a market for a CL. If you want cars that would appeal to most, look at Civics, Accords, Integras, Camrys, Altimas, etc.
