I had an AEM Cold Air...took it off because of the Intake Resonance. I now have my stock intake with the baffling taken out of the lower box with the K&N Drop-In up top. Still runs like a raped ape with no humm.....

Comptech Icebox added 5.6 horsepower on my first dyno--very impressive for an intake upgrade. I put it in at the place where I dyno'ed it, and the guy running it said he never saw such a drastic increase from adding an intake.

I had a total 33.8 horsepower increase with the Comptech headers, axle-back, and Icebox.

Is the hum from the baffling?

I ask this because I recently put in a Comptech drop-in filter and there is a hum at idle.

If you could provide some detail on how to remove the baffling out of the lower box it would be really appreciated.

The above link shows how to install the Icebox, but you can read it to fine out how to take apart the stock filter housing.
