damn, that's way over the top...that's like payin for Toyo Proxies when u can get Kumho's for a bundle less...the Neuspeed upperstrut bar should cost no more than $120...if u're that loyal to Comptech, i'd suggest waiting a bit to c if the price comes down some...an extra $50 is a little out there in my opinion

Yup! Installed my Neuspeed this weekend and got them from out sponsor here for approx $120.00 I wouldn't pay $175 for the Comptech..

IMO

U would replace the whole strut bar and do not need the OEM strut bar on the car.

The Neuspeed bar is $114 for the black bar and works WITH the factory bar. Takes about 10 min. to install. I would go with the Neuspeed any day. I mean, I buy Comptech stuff if others aren't available like their headers (for the exhaust, it looked the best), but if another bar is available cheaper, that does the same thing, why spend the extra $60 something bucks??

Then why spend the extra $20-$40 for a Neuspeed...when you can get one that replaces the entire upper strut tower and works just as well....not to mention it's also adjustable unlike the Neuspeed...which are a set stiffness? Just playing Devil's advocate...

Does the new one cover the shocks??? I only ask cause I know moon has the Weapon R one that covers the top of the shocks. Some of us have the Koni Yellows that need to be adjusted once in a while. You can't do that with the tops covered!!!

OK, point well taken. I didn't know it was adjustable. That could be the differentiator.....

so what is the verdict???

i appreciate all of ur feed back on the topic...this is cool to have car bros to figure this stuff out...truthfully i think many of the neuspeed strut bars wil be replaced with the comtech.....forget the extra 40 bills....no time to be cheap...if this bar is especially made for our rides, wouldnt the logical choice be wait for comptech...are two bars working together(stock and neuspeed)....i want to wait but.....

Hahahah hahah haha ha! That was a good one!! Comptech's prices come DOWN? Hahahahahahahahahaha! Oh, I'm dyin' over here!!!!

I wouldn't hold my breath about Comptech dropping their price on anything!!!!! Last price change I remember the headers actually became more expensive.

Oh, wait a minute, I might be mistaken---the lowering springs for the RL have been on sale on the Comptech website for about 2 years now. Must be a pretty big market for those!
