In my case, it was a gain of 69 WHP for my CLS 6sp which already had the i/h/bp/e installed and dyno'd (236 WHP/201 FT-LBS TQ) before the S/C (305 WHP/262 FT-LBS TQ). It's not just the peak WHP gain, but the torque and area under the curve that makes it worth the cost. For me, it was a very good investment since the car is sooo much faster than before.

We also checked into this when I saw this topic and from what we were told the CLS/TLS kit is not being discontinued......

It's such a shame that people just can't grasp the concept of this, but yet they are willing to spend the money on headers that are so much more expensive compared to the S/C, when you look at $$ per HP gains.

Is the $$/hp really that much better for a S/C? For 5AT folks, even if headers only put down 15 more whp (which I'm underestimating I believe), the S/C only rates at 35-40... for almost 4x the price. Or are you talking throughout the band, the S/C gives more for the $$?

300$ for headers that give 20+ to the wheels or 4,000$ on a supercharger that gets 50 to the wheels? I'd think the headers were a better deal :P

Yes, read this,...http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showt...hreadid=117218, then go to Comptech's website and compare their dynos on the S/C and the headers. Look at the area under the curve, not the peak.

You would think so, wouldn't you!

I will get a comptech mini price list and email whom ever that can post it on this site. I do not know how to post picture here. I am just reading it off Comptech price list.
