Comptech Stuff

I found a dealer by magic mountain that does aem intake, comptech headers, comptech exhaust, and neuspeed springs. The price is kinda high but it will have a 2 yr warranty plus the original car warranty is still in effect. Need some suggestions?.....

Also, Neuspeed or Aibach springs?.....trust or comptech exhaust.....

Eibach springs are good. Also look into getting the Comptech springs. Those are the ones I'm going to get.

I have not seen the Greddy/Trust exhaust on our cars and as such have only heard that it is not a bolton which is the more preferred method.Go with the Comptech equipment as it is designed specifically for your car and will not cause problems with your vehicles warranty.Jens

I have the comptech headers, aem pulleys and intake, and the eibach springs, their is less than a 1" gap between the tire and wheel well, with 18" rims and 225/40/18 tires, I love the springs, they have a great response and the car is not so bouncy

I cannot speak about the Comptech springs but I have plenty of experience with Eibach and other spring brands. Per my experience, Eibachs are the best calibrated springs I've ever used. When they make a set of springs for a specific car or other application, you can expect their performance to be as stated in the spec. sheet, which means no surprises.
If I wanted to lower my car, and Eibach made a set of springs for it, I'd go with them without thinking about it.

I thought the Eibach ProKit was designed for our cars??? Or were they designed for the v6 accord?

As far as the exhaust goes, they're all going to give you just about the same amount of HP, nothing noticeable. All the exhausts are gonna give you are sound and looks so try to see and hear the different exhausts and make your decision based on that. I haven't heard any in person, but hopefully this saturady I'll get to hear the Comptech and GReddy systems. If I like the sound, I may get the Comptech b/c IMO it looks the best on this car.

I honestly don't know if it's designed for our car or not, I just don't want to lower my car.
I wish somebody made a kit that would make the suspension stiffer without lowering it.

true...but i don't like the looks of comptech exhaust....the tip is too thick...and the diameter of the tip is too small compare to the thickness...am i making sense?......
and i was thinking greddy because USUALLY their exhaust are not loud on low rpms but gets louder when u rev it up....don't want too much problems with the police....freaking l.a. cops....but ur right....i think i have to hear it.....

I've heard about spring s that lower the car very little and provide the handling upgrade you are looking for. I think they are made by H&R. Read about it on this board. Do a search. Maybe something will turn up. There is somone who posted here (maybe still does) that has these springs installed.

I know what you mean, but I like that rolled-tip look, very classy. I also like their size b/c they don't stand out much, they just add a nice touch to the rear end.
