Comptech SC is a joke!

Comptech SC is a joke!
Real disapointment!
I just read on the comptech BB that the Comptech SC will add 40-50 HP on the wheels.
Mike's Dyno shows that with only Headers and CAI he got 236HP an extra of 36HP!
So, SC kit (with headers and ICE box) adds 50 HP, so the real gain of the SC is just 15 wheel HP. That is a joke!
BTW, only 6PSI, not even a 10 PSI, nor 15 PSI!!!

Take it easy. It wouldnt be hard at all to fabricate a bigger pulley for the kit. With mods doen you do gain more hp. This was done on the Accord, and not on the CL. I'm pretty sure we will see a bigger gain.

75hp at the wheels suddenly turns into 15hp at the wheels? All I gotta ask is "wtf"?
Good thing there's a rumor of another company creating a supercharger for our car. Not only will it keep the price down, it'll keep the performance up (we can only hope).

Well judging from the SC made for the s2000, I doubt the HP increase will be across the rpm range. Thats the style of SC they use. Boost only at and above vtec. Comptech SC for the s2000 runs at 6psi also. For that kind of money, get a custom built turbo. Thats what a few s2000 owners are turning to.

im really surprised at some of the comments...because nashaau says he read it it's gosple???please check your sources what i read was a verified 90hp sportcompact...comptech 100hp ...and you want more psi well a 10$ pulley is all it should take...

It doesnt work that way either. You cant just add HP like that. There are so many variables that can change the output. The headers/intake/pulleys/exhaust will help out a lot, but I dont think you will get the power you got from the mods, and the SC and add them together. The engine will flow differently, and that changes the equation.
