They are NOT on backorder anymore... as of a couple weeks ago, they were caught up in their production of the icebox units. I received mine about 1 week after I ordered it (ordered it about 5 weeks ago).

Just installed it this weekend -- lovin' it (also installed CT headers).

 

It might depend on which one you need. The 6 speed ones may still have problems. I have a friend who got his right a way, but it was an auto. TL_Typs_S is an auto also.

 

i need one for a 01 auto cl-s..are those available?

 

It also depends where you order it from. Comptech has some they ship out immediately, but technically there is still a backorder b/c there are many vendors still catching up on older orders.

So it becomes a choice... pay list plus shipping and wait a week, or pay a decent amount under list and wait 3-4 weeks. As was mentioned last week... hopefully by the end of June everyone will be caught up. One can only hope

 

Just called velocity, yes still backordered. I was informed that 12 people were in front of me.
