Moving to NYC today
Well, it's time. Residency starts on the 1st of July. This coming week we have orientation. I will not be driving down this week. I have to fly back the Chicago for a wedding on Friday and will drive down that Sunday. Kinda nervous...i a good way , though!!

I am flying in tonight. I've got a cousin who lives kinda close so I will stay at her place tonite. For those who don't know I am moving to Flushing, Queens to start residency in surgery.:bubbarubb
Anyways, here are my thoughts,
1) Can't wait to meet the east coast crew ... esp Lou etc (cuz they close and they got crazy mods!!!)
2) Lou, i found out I don't have parking .... there is a waiting list
So now I am debating whether to bring my car or not. As my girlfreind stated .... I am not emotionally equiped to have something happen to my car i.e. fucked up bumpers and dings
. What do I do?
I am confused. My other option is to bring my moms old car ...a '92 Ford Taurus. It's peice of crap and will fit in with all the other pieces of crap parked on the street.
Here i am starting my career and I am worried about what to do my car...priorities
anyways...NYC here i come, baby!!!

Losiet looking forward to meeting you
....we have a collection of cool CL owners out here; Titand19, Bnavarro, Scooter, IamRobG, Cusdaddy, Rondog, Bigman, cant think of anymore....but there's a bunch of us. I live very close to Flushing so meets will be definetly in the making
on the beginning of such a grand career at the rate that your going Im suspecting much nicer cars than the cL-S but its a great place to start.
as far as parking a CL-S in the streets of NY...I hate to say it but dont do it...they will either scratch up your bumpers up bad...scratch your paint...or what is really popular is the stealing of the HIDs....sorry dude but I cant see this happen to the cL-S....find her a good home that will take of her
or pay like me $180 a month for parking
and thats cheap
keep us posted

I was in NYC last month for the first time and boy do i wanna move there! I got around the subway my entire stay of 24 hrs (
) and it was super easy. I wouldnt even bother driving my car there since the subway takes u nearly everywhere and the drivers there are total NUTS.
I've never seen such reckless driving... it was like everyone was trying to piss the others by purposely cutting them off and whatnot.... almost like ur back in bombay
If u were to carry alot of stuff everyday then it would be a problem.
