Comptech Icebox: auto-to-manual conversion

I saw that the CL's comptech icebox model varies between auto and the 6spd. Does anyone know what the difference is?

Reason I'm asking is because I plan on doing a 6psd swap into my TL, but I was going to buy an Icebox prior to doing the conversion (since it'll be a good ways out).

Neejay, I suggest calling CT Engineering (ask for Nate), and ask him to give you a 6mt tube as well as the auto tube when you order the Icebox.

Good idea...damn I'm glad I posted up before buying one. lol sucks though, because this eliminates me being able to buy one used. Oh well.

When you do the 6MT swap do you plan on ditching VSA? You dont have to btw.

If you do get rid of it, you can delete the VSA now and get the 6MT Icebox. If you want to keep it after the swap, get the auto Icebox.

Thanks man. The TL isn't anything to look at just yet lol. My 240 is also more of a sleeper, but its fun . The swap is looking like its going to be around $2,000-ish.

I didn't know you could keep it...should I? I don't really see a reason not to keep it.
