Mine has actually gone down. Must be the extra heavy foot now that the mods are on.

Headers definitely rock.. one of the best mods for our car. Next I'm going to have to add something that improves the low end torque... either the 3.5L or the S/C.... we'll see

Anyway, enjoy.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost for the headers + installation?

how soon you thinking? I like the 3.5 personally. I guess it depends on how long I planned to keep the car. You probably can't recoup the 3.5 upgrade like you can the SC. If you planned to keep the car a while I think the 3.5, if you think you may ditch in a year or 2 SC.

I'll most likely be keeping this car until it dies. I too like the 3.5L upgrade. The only thing was that the guys at PAA mentioned their may be emissions problems with it. I posed that question here and was told no... so I'll have to get to the bottom of that before I make any move. If I go with the 3.5L I'd like to do it within a year... the S/C would probably be some time away.

2003TL-S: You should be able to get the headers for under $1150 shipped. Example.....we have them for $1122 shipped. I had my headers installed at Park Ave Acura... without following the link I think it was $250 for the install.

Yeah chap it did feel good. So far, this is what I notice about them ...
first .. is this my imagination, or does the engine take longer to warm up with the headers? and cools down faster?
second .. car definetly feels like it breathes better and feels healthier. Less effort to speed up even at midrange RPM.
third .. exhaust note is considerably louder and more noticeable at high RPM even with my stock 03 exhst.
and last .. it does feel like I lost a little bit of low end tourque .. but I might be imagining that too. anyone else feel that way?

Gonna have to look at that now cuz i've never really checked it before.

From the moment i left PAA my car felt exactly as you described it. Merging onto the Highway is a breeze as the car pulls like crazy now.

At first I thought it was just me but people have told me to that my car does sound noticeably louder. Nothing to the extreme but i'm sure the headers do change the tone a bit.

I added the intake at the same time as headers. To me the low end actually feels a tad quicker.

Chap, didn't you add headers and CT exhaust at the same time though? So your car definetly would've gotten louder with the exhaust. But I'm wondering if the headers change the tone of the CT exhaust? more\less drone? no change?

Will do.

And thats smart to do the suspension before the exhaust. Exhaust should be the last thing IMO.

UNC, no not every acura dealer deals with Comptech. Some don't like you to mod the car at all.

Dets, I doubt comptech will ever discount their stuff.
