Comptech front and H&R rear?

Saw a sig the other day that indicated that they had Comptechs on the from and H&Rs on the rear to eliminate the so called "rake" that you get with Comptechs all around. Does anyone have any opinion on this? Good or bad?

Thanks

I have this setup on my car. I absolutely LOVE it. I wasn't a fan of the rake look so i swapped my comptech rears for H&R rears. No difference at all. Jake from the board wanted the H&R fronts and Comptech rears so he could have a 1" drop all around. So it worked out for the both of us. I think Amir is doing this also. Here is a pic of my car so get an idea

Thanks alot for the reply. Your car looks sweet Exactly what I'm after. Do you know if it is possible to just purchase one set front springs from Comptech and one set of rear springs from H&R??

How do you like the ride? Is it noticeably different? Is it a much "harder" ride?

I don't think you could buy just front springs from Comptech and rear springs from H&R. I could be wrong though, talk to tim from ACP and see if you can work something out. The ride is no different from when i had Comptech all around. Goodluck

Possibly....still trying to decide what I'm going to do. How low are the H&R sports? Are there diff. H&R's you can get that aren't so low?

You could just save yourself some trouble and go for the Eibach Pro Kit like many of the members have. I believe the drop is like 1 1/2" all around (not to sure). Check that out. It would be probably be easier then swapping springs with someone or trying to buy one fronts from comptech and rears from H&R.

I'd like to see the pics if you don't mind. I'm still trying to decide if I want to do it or not. I'm a bowler so I have anywhere from 4-10 bowling balls in my trunk at one time, kind of worried that the extra weight might not be to good if I droped it

Do you have a rear shot of the pre-kit car? I want to see those exhausts better. Trying to decide how the Greddys look.

What modification is needed? Do they need to weld on hangers or something? Or just bend them a little? Or do you have to shorten the pipes or something?
