I also heard that the CL axlebacks were shorter than the TL's. This would make sense since the TL's part number is 240-110 and the CL's part number is 240-111. If not length, there is enough difference for Comptech to assign a different part number.

So far, I've only had mine on for a few weeks so the novelty hasn't worn off yet.

I like them quite a bit. It adds a little character to the car. I like the sound when you throttle it - not overwhelming at all. Just a nice healthy deep roar. It's mostly flat around here so on a cruze, the droning that people have noticed hasn't been an issue for me. I think the droning is more pronounced when there's a load on the motor.

If you can get the TL or Accord exhaust for a good price, I think a muffler shop can easily fit them to a CL.

I love mine, but I would buy them used if possible. The only reason I bought them was because I got them for 350 from a friend in town that was selling them .. otherwise I would've never paid 600 for the set. If you do a search I posted like 2 or 3 clips of how mine sound. one vid is just revving in neutral and another is an actual take off ...

I love mine as well and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

They do sound "similar" to the G/Z exhaust if not a bit louder. And of course we have the droning, which in my opinion really isn't that bad, while they do not.

You can control the droning at high speeds by driving in D4 or by using the throttle to help control the sound.

A great mod for the CL.

the TL ones are a tad longer in length. overall i wish they were slightly louder. some ppl cant even tell if i have an exhaust unless i tell them. but for the TL/CL image, comptechs are perfect, very subtle but definately a throaty low end roar, i compare it to the TL OEM bodykit, not overly aggressive as to stand out, but you can definately tell somethings there. try and find them used, $600 is not worth it. got mine for $400 shipped. they are not like the 350z/g36 exhaust. those are alot throatier sounding and much more aggressive. plus the tone that the 350/35s make is very distinct. but i say get'm!!
