I thought the stock bolts were welded to the stock mufflers???
I remember them being studs, not nuts and bolts!!!!

I went to my local home depot and bought the nuts, bolts and
washers!!!

Let us know if you got it to work!!!

At nearly $700, are the CT Axleback Exhausts really worth the money?

How much hp gain?

Are they too noisy?

Are they mostly for looks?

HP gain, 2-3hp max.

They sound perfect and they look perfect... they really complete the car. You can get lesser expensive exhausts, however, IMO, many of them do not look right on the CL/TL. To each their own... but if you want exhausts, I (and many others) think they're worth it.

As for the bolts.... I remember the stock bolts not fitting properly with the Comptech Exhausts, so I just used the ones that came with the Comptech's......

Zapata the stock exhaust has the bolts that are wielded on so you can't use the stock ones. You should of asked me a last week I just mounted mine and it sounds fawking awesome do it.....it sounds much better than on the auto especially at cruising speed the 6 speed cruises at higher rpms avoiding the droning.

Great i can't wait. That's the one thing I was dreading was the droning. Hmmm so originally spoke to comptech and they gave me a 10x32 size and that's what's listed on their installation PDF. However, i just got an email from saying it's 10x1.5x35. Grrrrrr. Any clues?

I used to have the Comptech Exhaust & mine came with the nuts & bolts needed for installation. That was about a year ago...I wonder if they stopped sending the nuts & bolts

OK, here is the scoop!!!
I bought my exhaust USED and did NOT get the bolts either.
I went to Home Depot and bought the following:

4 10mm X 32mm BOLTS
4 10mm NUTS
4 10mm WASHERS
4 10mm LOCK WASHERS

If you can find the LOCK NUTS, then get 4 of those and
8 WASHERS. They worked perfect. My local Home Depot
had a bin in the nuts and bolts section with all the metric
stuff. Go to your local hardware store, I am sure they
will have what you need!!!

NOW GO PUT YOUR EXHAUST ON!!!!!

I second that but the droning gets annoying sometimes if you get caught going just the right speed. 95% of the time its perfect.
