Comptech Coilovers?

Ok, I'm new to this site and just got into modifying my Cl-S. I've been browsing this site and it's been a great resource. But what I'm still confused about is whether Comptech makes coilovers. I've seen on their site where it looks like they do sell Comptech coilovers, but someone called their office and they said they don't and only sell their springs and Koni shocks seperately. So what's the deal?
And if anybody can recommend a performance shop in the LA area (I know, too many choices), but I need a quality, reliable, and trsutworthy performance shop. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks everyone!

I'm pretty sure no such thing exists...But Nex and Weapon R make coilovers for the Accord V6 which would work on your CLS.

I believe Comptech has a coilover setup for the NSX. For CL just their Springs and Koni's.

Comptech does not have a coilover system for our car. IMHO I would really not recommend coilovers for our car. coilover systems are usually designed with little or no spring sag and I'm yet to see a truely progressive spring on a coilover setup. 90% of the people out there rarely or never adjust their ride height anyway. adjusting your own ride height leaves suspension tuning up to you. while this may sound like a good thing, I personally have more trust in the ride height and spring rates developed by experts in the field of suspesion tuning. It's been my experience that you will be happier with a quality spring rather than a much harsher riding coilover setup. My Integra had the Tanabe Sustec coilover setup. It was great for a car that I raced on a regular basis. But, let's face it the CL, even the type S is no race car and I'm sure you don't want it to ride like one. Like I said this is just in my opinion. you might want that race car ride but I would ask around and get some other opinions on a coilover vs. spring setup. maybe even try posting a topic on the same. BTW welcome to the site and good luck with your car

Thanks everyone for their informative replies! With that being said, I'm 95% sure that I' getting Koni yellows and comptech springs and having the dealer install them so that it wouldn't affect my warranty. Is that a quality suspension set-up? Is it a good idea to let the dealer do the installs?

Yes that sounds good but...don't let vtechnology scare you away from coilovers

I personally like coilovers because they allow you to drop your CLS for show or put it stock height for riding. It's all up to you...BTW the comptechs give a rake look and don't lower it all to much...I suggest going with Eibach's.

you people that might slam your car for the show and raise for driving should understand that 90% of cl owners would not lower there car and of the 10% that will, those people want subptle...the comps are signifigant drop compared to stock just not compared to "SLAMMED"...my H&R o.e's are so sweet just what i wanted...looks perfect but most ould not think it's lowered
