I think im clutch is slipping on my CL-S6... whenever I shift fast and pop the clutch and gas, the rpm's will jump up like the clutch isn't engaging. Are there any aftermarket choices available? or am I stuck with the OEM setup. And if I went OEM what would I need to replace? for ex. the flywheel/pressure plate/friction disk. Thank's for the help. And the car has 81k on the odometer.

 

SPEC makes great clutches. They offer them for our cars. Pricing isn't bad either.

 

Damn 600~ for a clutch from SPEC? how come clutches for CL-S6's are more expensive than other cars?

 

I went over and toke a look at acuraoemparts.com and found a clutch set for $234, is this all I need for a full replacement? I believe it includes the pressure plate and clutch disk. You may need the flywheel as well. Our flywheel is a Dual Mass unit and cant be machined.

 

You might wanna do the throw out bearing while your in there too.
