CLS Vs 330ci

There was this guy in a new 330 cutting and weaving through light traffic late last night. I was just smoothly following him for a little while until he noticed me following. We finally meet up at a light and he is of course inching forward like he couldn't wait for the light to change. I figured we would have a little run so when the light turned green I dropped the clutch at like 2500rpms and raped him bad off the line. He barely spun his tires so I thought he got a good launch. At the end of second I had like 1.5 car lead on him, then when I hit third i really started to walk away by a few car lengths lead, so I shut it down only for him to do the infamous fly by. My guess is that he had to be auto to get taken so bad, but it was still fun to smoke him.

I didn't spin that bad cause I feathered the throttle after I launched. It took me a little bit to get it just right but I think I perfected it now.

Thanks fellas.

Not really.. 5sp 330's run mid 14's, while 5sp IS300's run low 15's. Maybe an auto 330 vs a 5sp IS300 is a good match. Peak hp numbers never tell the whole story, its the area under the curve.

good driving

On paper a 330ci w/5-speed is a tad quicker, but when cars are within .4-.6 tenths of a second of each other the better driver will win.

good kill and good driving

it would be a good race if you found an equally good driver driving a 330ci 5-speed unfortunatley if you look at dealer alotments not many are ordered, they are rare. A 330i or ci auto is no match for your car.

M life is a good life unless you run 20 lbs of boost on a MR2 turbo
