The CLS change ash tray

I have viewed the past responses in regards to this topic and will not beet it to death but, DAMN THAT LITTLE POS!! I had change all up in that jank, some change even fell into the area below the OBDII harmness connector which required some panel removal. This thing safely holds about a buck- fifty then after that it regurgitates into the labrinth of the consol. Not to mentionthe door will not shut properly.
Anyway, I feel better now.

Don't forget about the PA/NY/NJ meet next Sat. in PA.

LOL....... I hear you! That happened to me too. Always have change in there for my Dunkin Donuts run. I was able to get the change out of those nooks and crannies. The black piece in the bottom tray can be pried out. I also was able to pull out the red felt tray to access the coins stuck back there and used a tweezers to get the loose change out. All is well now. BTW- heard a news blurb last night that the govt. might eliminate pennies? Didn't hear the whole story though. All they said was- you better start rolling them. The pennies that is!

Good info about the "red felt" thought that
might come out!
Can't imagine life w/ out feeding pennies to my blue pet water cooler jug.
O -well, less copper weights in the CLS anyway.

The red felt thing just pulls out. It has some "stickum" stuff on the bottom like that roping/caulking stuff that you put around windows in the winter.

BTW- all my icons aren't showing up here. Anyone else having a problem? Also, still NO news about photopoint.com! I've called CNET, wrote to CNN, SmashCast movies, LA Times plus a few others, but no response yet! No one answers at photopoint- 415-248-5140. Can't even leave a message.

I have done a search but this topic was not found. I am looking for someone to describe how to remove the stupid change holder completely. Does anyone have the Helm's Manual where it is described?
I have had my car 2 months now and the 2nd day I owned the car change fell back there and I can hardly open the damn thing. I punched it, kicked it, and took the cover underneath it off but to no avail....HELP!!!
I cant stand to have something not working correctly... it will drive me insane!!!!!

Don't use the fake ashtray for a coin holder. All the loose change that falls into the console is going to weigh your car down and increase your acceleration times. So the money spent on headers, intake, and pulleys will go to waste.

that change tray is WAY to small. I use the indentation in the door. The same place with the controls for the windows. Deep enough and wide. Nice and easy access and i never have had stuff flyout or get stuck.

yeah, i really want to go. I'm planning on going. I'd like to see all mods. I want to get a CAI so it'll be worth while to see what the installed product looks like and maybe get an audio demo. Stereo stuff is also a must. Everyday i yearn for a low riddah, dark shade fo muh ride and the ghetto thump
