Got side swiped the other day. Some chuckle head tried to get
into the left hand turn lane, but my car seemed to interphere
with his plans. Messed up the passenger door and the front of the
rear quarter panel. Goes to the body shop tommorrow. I figured
since it will be gone for a week or so, that I got time to get the
gtc's black chromed.

 

it's lovely how 1 week repair jobs become 4 weeks and 5. good luck man.. that really sucks... my car has been out of the shop for 2 of the 13 months I've owned it.

 

basic same thing happened to me like 2 months ago.....door and rear quarter panel were no problem, but the rocker at the bottom of the door on my car was bent. It pushed body shop time to like 3 1/2 weeks. Just make sure wherever you take checks that bottom piece

 

Dude, that sucks man. What did the damage estimate come to for that kind of accident?

Well, at least it wasn't serious (in terms of you getting hurt)...gotta be careful out here in AZ.

Glad you're okay though...hopefully you have a good body shop. Where you taking it? Scottsdale Paint & Body?

 

Kustom Koachworks is doing the repairs there in Tempe. Hopefully will be better than new. The estimate is about 1800.00
It was a chevy truck that hit me so it stayed higher up than the rocker panel.
I'll be bumming if 5-7 bus. days turns into 2-3 wks.
